Glass Fibre Braid
Glass fibre braid offers the most cost effective option for laminated prosthetic sockets. The fibres are heavier in weight than carbon, bulkier than carbon, and do not offer the overall strength/stiffness of carbon. Typically glass fibre braids will produce a heavier more bulky socket than one made from carbon fibre.
Available in Above Knee (AK) size, and two sizes for Below-Knee (BK) prosthetic sockets.
