Northfoam® 33
NSP currently has three grades of Northfoam® foams; Northfoam® 33, Northfoam® 140 and Northfoam® 170. All these grades of foam are chemically expanded polyethylene foams.
Northfoam® 33 is an extruded foam, which provides a skin on both surfaces of the material, no matter the thickness. This skin leaves no exposed "cells", which capture dirt and microbes, providing a wipe clean surface. The density of Northfoam® is 33kg/m3, which is a lightweight foam, with good cushioning properties. The main use of Northfoam® 33 is in orthotic applications for padding and lining purposes.
